Raspberry Pi HQ Camera is a major improvement from the module 2 camera in that it has 12.3 MegaPixels, instead of 8, thanks to the new Sony IMX477 Sensor.

In addition, this new camera features a 7.9mm diagonal image size, a back-illuminated sensor architecture, an adjustable back focus, and support for C- and CS-mount lenses. Due to its high-resolution images and high sensitivity, the HQ Camera is ideal for lots of applications in industry, education, and for pure fan projects for hobbyists.
